ARC Terms of Use & Health Disclaimer
Version 1.0 · Last updated April 2026
By creating an account or using ARC, you agree to these Terms and the Health & Fitness Disclaimer below. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
ARC ("the app") is provided by Chari Ventures. The app offers training plans, fueling suggestions, workout analysis, and related features for general fitness and wellness purposes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have guardian consent, to use ARC. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Premium features are available via auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Pricing is shown in-app at the point of purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; partial-period refunds are at Apple's discretion.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including (but not limited to) reverse-engineering the app, attempting to access other users' data, scraping content, or using ARC to provide medical advice to third parties.
5. Health & Fitness Disclaimer
Important — please read carefully.
ARC is a general fitness and wellness companion. It is NOT a medical device, and the content it provides — including training plans, meal suggestions, injury-rehabilitation paths, exercise alternatives, pace guidance, and AI-generated recommendations — is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Before you begin
- Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you are pregnant, have a pre-existing medical condition, take medication, or are recovering from illness or injury.
- Physical activity carries inherent risks, including but not limited to musculoskeletal injury, cardiac events, heat illness, dehydration, and falls. You assume full responsibility for those risks when using ARC.
Listen to your body
- Stop exercising immediately if you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, sharp or sudden pain, or any symptom that feels abnormal. Seek emergency care when appropriate.
- Pain that persists for more than two weeks, night pain, numbness, tingling, swelling, or loss of function are red flags. Consult a physiotherapist or doctor rather than continuing self-guided rehab.
- Rehab paths in ARC are informational frameworks. Individual injuries vary. A qualified clinician who can examine you will always be more accurate than an app.
AI-generated content
Some suggestions are produced by automated systems and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. Use judgment. Do not rely on ARC as a sole source of health, fitness, or nutrition decision-making.
6. Assumption of risk & limitation of liability
By creating an account and using ARC, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are voluntarily using ARC at your own risk.
- ARC, Chari Ventures, its developers, and its affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the app, its recommendations, or reliance on any content within it.
- The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- Where local law does not permit certain exclusions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
7. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and software in ARC are owned by Chari Ventures or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes
If we materially change these Terms, we'll increment the version and ask you to re-acknowledge before the new terms apply.
